Canadian Juice Giant Lee Li Holdings Explores Significant Investment Opportunities in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Lee Li Holdings Group, a prominent fruit juice enterprise based in Canada, is actively seeking substantial investment opportunities within Cambodia, aiming to establish a regional supply hub. This strategic move was highlighted during a recent visit by a high-level Cambodian delegation.

Mr. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), led the Cambodian delegation to Lee Li Holdings Group’s facilities in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on October 29. The primary purpose of this visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s operational management infrastructure and its large-scale, highly automated production lines, which incorporate advanced modern technology.

During their visit, the Cambodian officials also observed the sophisticated application of modern technology and strict adherence to international quality standards in the processing of beverage products. The Council for the Development of Cambodia emphasized that such advanced practices could serve as a valuable model for enhancing Cambodia’s domestic food processing and agro-industry sectors. The Canadian juice manufacturer is currently evaluating the feasibility of investing in Cambodia to support its ambitious regional supply ambitions.

This exploration follows a significant earlier engagement. In July 2024, Lee Q. Shim, Chairman and CEO of Lee Li Alliance Holdings Group, held a meeting with Prime Minister Hun Manet. During their discussion, Lee Li Holdings Group expressed a broader interest in investing across several key potential sectors within Cambodia. These include oil and gas, healthcare services, the establishment of an export accreditation center, the food processing industry, the logistics sector, and the automotive industry. The ongoing discussions underscore Cambodia’s growing appeal as a destination for foreign direct investment, particularly for companies looking to leverage its strategic location for regional supply chains and economic growth.
